Raven and Scott have been doing art together since they met in 2008. At first it began very innocently, with the preparation of a full-sized fiberglass model of a Tyrannosaurus skull at a museum, but art has since become their natural state. Both are naturalists, and their work often reflects natural themes.

Swimming Dilophosaurus

A dilophosaurus dinosaur floats in tranquil blue water with a small frog, Prosalirus, floating just out of sight underneath. The dinosaur is restored as a semi-aquatic hunter with turtle-like webbed forelimbs and alligator-like osteoderms along the back. © Raven Amos

Alice In Wonderland

A tyrannosaur type dinosaur, Nanuqsaurus, sporting a coat of speculative feathers as it stands in a forest that would be more at home in a more ancient time with dawn redwoods, cycads, ferns and ginkgo trees. A large blue caterpillar rears up on a mushroom, showing that the dinosaur is actually small, almost a dwarf. © Raven Amos

Elephant's Rainbow

An elephant paints a dripping rainbow in the sky above it with a single small paintbrush. It erupts from the brush in a long swooping motion. The brush strokes are rendered in more painterly style while the elephant is stark and graphical. © Raven Amos
